This demo offers an overview of Pixelsilk's Search Advice, which is integrated with Bruce Clay's industry-leading SEOToolSet ®. Those that have a subscription to the Bruce Clay, Inc. SEOToolSet® using Pixelsilk can now take advantage of SEO advice brought straight into the Pixelsilk content editor. This is a breakthrough in the world of content management as SEO recommendations can be utilized by the content editor (whom we like to call “Ed” The Editor) for content creation.

In a quote from Bruce Clay, he comments on the shift by saying, “The real problem that SEO has had is that it is always bolted on after somebody has written the content in a CMS. The Pixelsilk-SEOToolSet integration provides a way to correct SEO issues at the point of content creation, and to have it be done by the original author. That will revolutionize SEO.”

The valuable asset to these recommendations is that they are drawn from the Bruce Clay, Inc. SEOToolSet real-time. So as search engine results change, the advice is updated and notifications are sent. Thus, the content editors, marketers, SEOs, compliance managers and/or concerned production staff may be alerted to the need for updates for specific pages and can then proceed to make changes.

  1. SEOToolSet-Smartz-lowres.jpgKeyword phrases specific to each page needed for SEO are assigned through Pixelsilk Search Advice (typically through the role of the SEO Analyst or Optimizer)
  2. The keyword phrases submitted are processed through the Bruce Clay, Inc. SEOToolSet and it returns advice based off of the top 5 search engine results for the keyword phrases from Google.
  3. Advice can be viewed through the ‘Page Information’ tab in the admin bar, or through the tab on the side of the content editor.
  4. As you type, and the recommendations are satisfied, you will notice the number in the ‘Now’ column turn green (from red). Once all the numbers are green, you’re fully compliant with the recommendations.
  5. Save your changes and you’re on your way to gaining visibility in the search engines and keeping on top of your competition.
